5 Things We Loved about Stars on Ice

Last week my family enjoyed a night out at Stars on Ice in Victoria.

We have been to the show many times and have always loved the build up and the anticipation for this show.

On tour this year are some fabulous skaters including: Elvis Stojko, Kurt Browning, Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond and special guest Shawn Sawyer!

Here are 5 things we loved about the show in Victoria:

1> The music! Every Stars on Ice show always features great classics and fun top 40 songs.

2> The costumes! We loved all the pretty (and sparkly) dresses. We also enjoyed the fun flashy pants worn by the men and the colourful outfits for the finale number.

3> The one skate number. Four of the men took the ice wearing only ONE skate for one number. This was very cool. It impressed us so much. I’m not willing to try skating with just one skate.

4> Shawn Sawyer! Shawn made a special appearance at our show. He was great. He had the audience dancing in their seats. Shawn is extremely talented and inspiring.

5> The group numbers. It’s always fun to see all the skaters work together on choreography. This show did not disappoint. We loved seeing all our favourites on the ice together.
