Back to School with I Can Read! Books #Giveaway

At the end of August I always like to get my kids ready for back to school with school themed books.

This month I received four fun I Can Read! book from Harper Collins Canada. We received Fancy Nancy: Splendid Speller, Biscuit Goes to School, Pete the Cat: Too Cool for School and Flat Stanley: Show-and-Tell Flat Stanley.

I’ve always been a fan of I Can Read! books.

I like that:

  • They are levelled
  • They are well priced
  • They feature popular characters
  • They are a great length
  • They are easy to bring along to the restaurant, trips and more

We’ve been reading these books before bedtime. My kids are really enjoying the stories. My daughter is a big fan of Fancy Nancy and my son is in love with Pete the Cat.

I Can Read! books have five levels of books. You will find My First level books and levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. The length of the book, word count  and difficulty augments with the level. I have enjoyed reading these levelled books with my daughter, they have helped her learn how to read and have given her more confidence when reading.

These four books are perfect to get kids ready to go back to school. I Can Read! books are available at bookstores across Canada.

HarperClassroom has several FREE printables available for these book on their I Can Read! website.
