Kids become more Independent with Kandoo Kids + Giveaway!

My children are 5 and 9. They are busy, creative and fun. Unfortunately, they still depend on my husband and I for many little things. Pouring milk into their cereal, tying their shoelaces and more.

I have high hopes of seeing them be more independent in more areas this fall.

I would like my son to finally be able to wipe his own bum. (Yes, I said it!!) He still needs an adult to wipe.

I would like my daughter to be able to brush her own (extremely long) hair.

Thankfully, I was recently introduced to Kandoo Kids products. This line of products is designed to promote more independence and encourage children to do certain daily tasks without adult help.

Our two favourite products of the bunch include the Kandoo Flushable Cleaning Wipes and the Kandoo detangler.

Kandoo Flushable Cleaning Wipes

These soft cleaning wipes are very easy to use and have a nice fresh scent. You’ll find these wipes in a fun tub container that is resealable and fits perfectly on top of the toilet bowl. You can also buy Kandoo wipes in refillable pouches.

Kandoo Flushable Cleaning Wipes are:

  • Easy for little hands to use
  • Moistened with lotion
  • Flushable and Biodegradable

  • contains no Paraben or sulfates
  • kid-friendly

Other Kandoo products that we’ve been using and love include the sensitive Natural Bubble Bath, the Funny Berry hand soap, and the Funny Berry shampoo. Kandoo products are readily available and are well priced. I am very impressed that they’ve helped my own children become a little more independent. I wish I had discovered these products a long time ago!

  1. Definitely the flushable wipes for us! There’s nothing worse than a clogged toilet because someone keeps wiping!

  2. I think the detangler would allow my kids to be more independent as I always have to comb out their knots after bathtime

  3. I think the KANDOO DETANGLER would make sophie more independent by allowing her to brush her own hair without her crying.

  4. im going to say the flush-able wipes, we are going through potty training right now, and number two seems to be the problem. maybe if she had fun wipes it would help.

  5. my girl loves all the fun Kandoo products….I always try to keep stocked up so my kiddo keeps up her great washroom habits!

  6. I think the Kandoo Flushable Cleaning Wipes would make them more independent with wiping – they would probably do a better, cleaner job than with toilet paper. I would love not having to wipe for them anymore… And I also think the detangler would help my older daughter comb out her own hair more independently without needing me to get out knots for her.

  7. I think the hand soap would really help my child become more independent because I still need to help her wash her hands and she would be able to handle it on her own, I think, with that.

  8. I think for my nephew it would be the KANDOO FLUSHABLE CLEANING WIPES since he currently going through the potty training stage and needs to learn how to help wipe!

  9. Im going to say the detangler .My daughter is 6 and showing interest in brushing her own hair however its almost down to her knees so she gets frustrated with it because of the knots , it can be a major task ,

  10. The Flushable Cleaning Wipes would definitely help a child be more independent. The moistened wipes would help them learn how to thoroughly clean easily.

  11. I think the Flushable wipes help make your child feel very independent. They no longer would need mom (or dad) to double check to make sure they got it all clean.
