New from Nintendo: Puzzle & Dragons + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros

I mentioned a while back that my daughter received a Nintendo 2DS for her birthday.

She has loved using this portable gaming system more than any other device she has ever owned. She has been working hard to earn minutes to play on her 2DS. When she saves up 15 minutes she can claim them and play.

I have to admit. I’m pretty impressed with the Nintendo 2DS. It’s not like any other gaming device I’ve ever seen. It’s very easy to use and the games are so much fun.

We recently received a download code for the new game Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. I had never downloaded a game for the 2DS so I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to do. To my surprise, it was super easy.

{How to Download a Game from the eShop}

1) Connect your system to the Internet and click on the eShop logo.

2) Browse through the eShop and tap on games and demos to learn more information about them.

3) Select “Tap here to Purchase” when you are ready to buy. You can use a credit card or a Nintendo eShop card to purchase.

4) Your purchased game will be downloaded and will show up when you return to the Home menu of your system.

I especially like that you do not need to plug in your 2DS to a computer when downloading a game.

Of course my daughter claimed 15 minutes right away when this new game was downloaded.

Puzzle & Dragon Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. is a super fun game. Since it’s a combo pack you can choose to play either the Dragon Z version or the Super Mario Bros version.

To begin you have to create a team that has one leader, four allies and a special helper. The object of the game is to match 3 or more orbs to damage your enemies. When you defeat an enemy you can add them to your team.

My daughter has enjoyed playing both versions of the game. I like how straightforward this game is and that it gets more difficult the longer you play. Like all games you need to use your puzzle strategies to get to higher and more difficult levels.

I’m still learning about this game from my daughter but I can tell you it’s very fun and a great value since it’s a two in one game pack.

  1. Sounds like a good game and I think I would be like a few others and would get hooked to it myself. I am thinking that my niece would enjoy this game.

  2. I agree with everyone! It looks like a great game for kids and adults who want to get their brains working! Thanks!

  3. This looks like something my son would really be interested in when he’s a bit older. In fact, I’m sure my husband would love to have one now…they may each need their own! 🙂

  4. This sounds like a great game for both boys and girls. It also sounds like it can be pretty easy for them to play.

  5. I agree with both of the commenters before me! I could totally get hooked on it (and I try to stay away from them because once I start I can’t stop!!) haha Apparently I require a little more self control 😉
