Nintendo Masterpieces at 4Cats Art Studio

My daughter is quite the little artist. She has a pencil and paper with her from the moment she wakes up until she goes to bed at night. She also loves to paint. That’s why when we heard about the latest Nintendo workshop at our local 4Cats art studio we knew we had to sign her up.

For the first time ever, Nintendo teamed up with 4Cats Art Studios to teach children how to create Pokemon watercolour paintings.

We loved the atmosphere when we arrived at the 4Cats studio. Students were set up around a large table and a 4Cats instructor showed them how to draw their favourite Pokemon character in pencil. Students were then asked to outline the character in black and then given watercolours to paint them.

All the kids at the table were so attentive and created amazing work. The 4Cats instructor was patient and provided many tips on how to get their masterpieces just right.

My daughter created a great Pikachu painting which is now hanging in her room.

Once the kids finished their paintings it was time to test out the New Nintendo 3DS XL and the new Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire game. My daughter loved testing out the New Nintendo 3DS  XL and appreciated all the tips from a Nintendo expert.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL has face tracking 3D. It’s easy to hold (even in little hands), has new controls, built in amiibo support and more power!

My daughter enjoyed  the game because she likes Pokemon and thought the battles were very fun.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL is now available in stores. The Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire game is also available in stores. A demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop.

Overall we had a fabulous time at the Nintendo workshop at 4Cats Art Studio. My daughter loved the opportunity to paint with wonderful materials and enjoyed playing with the New Nintendo 3DS XL.

  1. My 7 are all adults now, thankfully 🙂 I used to love drawing and did quite well in Art at school. I used to paint pictures onto blown out egg shells at Easter time, that was a lot of fun. 🙂 Love your daughter’s painting, tell her she made a wonderful work of art.
