Potty Training with the Ubbi 3-in-1 Potty + Giveaway!

by Melissa H

I am potty training my son who is 2 and a bit – 28 months if you’re counting – and I was so excited to try out the Ubbi 3-in-1 potty.

When I first saw it, I noticed how it was so sleek and modern. The whiteness of it and the crisp blue lines (it also comes in pink and orange) were so fresh and much different than most kids items. In fact, I often have this in my living room and no one notices that it’s a potty at all!  I love that it is circular so that my son’s legs can go anywhere he wants while sitting, and that the collector insert is quite oval shaped so that any deposits #1 or #2 are easily caught. We have had different potties throughout my potty training years, and some are a circle, so for boys it’s difficult to get their penis to be in while being able to collect the poop too. The oval is wonderful!

The best thing about the 3-in-1 potty is that it isn’t just a potty (as the name suggests), it’s also a stool!  After using the potty, take off the top seat, turn over the base and you have a very sturdy stool for kids to stand on to wash hands. The colored rubber that makes the potty look so sleek it grips for the floor and kids’ feet, which makes it a safe stool. AND the top seat can attach to any toilet! We have oval and circular toilets at our house, what’s cool about the potty seat is it has adjustable clips to suit your toilet shape making it completely universal. I LOVE that!

Ubbi 3-in-1 potty review

When we are potty training, we keep potties in several rooms; one in the living room, one close to the kitchen, and one in the bathroom, making it easy for our son to reach the potty when he has to go. Because we do this, we don’t want our guests to think we are using every room as a bathroom, which makes the Ubbi 3-in-1 potty a great choice. I love using it with my Ubbi Diaper Caddy so that everything we need is close by. We also bring them with us to the park, and will bring one in the car in case he has to go in a restaurant or other place where he might not fit on a big toilet.

Ubbi 3-in-1 potty review

I highly recommend the Ubbi potty to help with your potty training days because of its versatility, sleek modern look, and because once you’re done with the potty part, the stool will continue to be useful until your child is 5 years old or more. Depending on height, of course.

  1. I think every child is different, but some really do respond well to incentives likes stickers or M&Ms during potty training!
