Celebrate the Holidays with Great Books from Harper Collins

When the holidays approach I always pull out our box of Christmas books. We have a great selection of books that my kids love reading again and again around Christmas time.

I like to add a few titles to the box every year because who doesn’t love new books?

I was so happy when Harper Collins sent me new books for our Christmas collection.

We received the board book My Jolly Christmas by Mariana Herrera, The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore with pictures by Loren Long and a fun series by Matt Haig including A Boy Called Christmas, Father Christmas and Me, and The Girl Who Saved Christmas.

A Boy Called Christmas series

This series by Matt Haig is great for middle-grade readers. My son and I have started the first book in the series: A Boy Called Christmas and are hoping to get through all three books this holiday season.

  3. My kids love How the Grinch Stole Christmas the most – we have my copy from when I was a little girl, so they not only love the story, they also love reading an “olden days” copy haha. It’s our special story we read a lot over the holidays!

  4. My boys are young and love Rudolph – so definitely Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.
    I love it too – I cry when I read the part where all his reindeer friends accept him 🙂

  14. I love Christmas books , have my kids from years ago and I’m enjoying reading them with my grandchildren. These are some nice new titles I’d love to add to my collection.

  18. Twas the Night Before Christmas and The Nutcracker will always be favourites. I’d love to discover some new Christmas books though!

  46. My kids and I always read a children’s version of A Christmas Carol and their favourite is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
