A Modern Twist on Mountain Accommodations at Evolution in Whistler #FamilyTravel

Over the past few years Whistler, BC has become one of my favourite cities to visit with my family. Whistler is a short trip from my home. It has a wide range of activities for families and has many condo style hotels to choose from.

My family visited Whistler this past May long weekend. This time we stayed at Evolution in Creekside.

Evolution is a luxury condo situated at the foot of Blackcomb mountain. I always love modern accommodations so I was looking forward to staying at Evolution. I was very pleased with the look of this condo.

{The 2 Bedroom Suite}

When we walked into our 2 bedroom suite we saw a beautiful well appointed kitchen, a large dining and living room and two bedrooms with king size beds. The bathrooms at Evolution are also very modern. They each have a separate shower and deep soaker tub. The balcony in our 2bed suite was large and had a dining set perfect to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine.

This suite has a mud room upon entering and a washer and dryer. Laundry soap is provided. I imagine that this mudroom would come in handy during the winter months when the entire family is wearing boots and has winter gear to hang up.

The 2 bedroom suite sleeps 6 people. As mentioned, each bedroom has kings beds and the suite has a sofa bed in the living room. Evolution is a pet friendly hotel so you can bring your dog along on vacation.

{Ammenities}

Evolution has a heated pool and two hot tubs, a movie theatre and an entertainment room. We went to the pool on several occasions. I was impressed that the pool area was sunny almost all day. I loved the long chairs at the pool and the sauna and steam room. My kids loved the family hot tub.

The entertainment room was a huge draw for my kids. The main reason was because of the Nintendo WiiU systems in the room. We went to play Mario Cart 8 each night of our stay.

{Creekside}

Evolution is just steps away from a new Tim Hortons and is across the street from a grocery store, liquor store and Can Ski store (which has bike rentals in the summer and ski and snowboard gear in the winter). There are several restaurants in the area including a Japanese restaurant, a family restaurant and Dusty’s.

I really enjoyed our stay at Evolution on Whistler Creekside. It is absolutely a hotel I will be returning to with my family.

The suites were well appointed, comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I really liked sitting on the balcony in the evening and slept so well in the king size bed.
