A few weeks ago my family had the pleasure to host author Jane Bull at our home in Victoria, BC.
Now, I have to disclose, our visitor wasn’t the real Jane Bull. It was a beautiful Jane Bull doll that the author knitted herself.
Jane Bull is one of DK’s most celebrated authors. She has written several craft and cooking books for DK.
When Jane arrived we made a plan to show her lots of sights from Victoria.
Welcome to Victoria, Jane!
Jane at Mt Tolmie.
Jane at the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm.
Jane at the beach.
Jane in downtown Victoria.
We also did a special project from her Make This! book. Jane helped us make a Papier Mache bowl from recycled wrapping paper.
We had such a wonderful time showing Jane all around town. It was lovely to have such a talented author in our house for almost a week.
