Every November I encourage my students to create art work on the Remembrance Day theme.
Poppies are a symbol of Remembrance Day so most of our projects involve poppies.
This year I decided to use toilet paper rolls to create poppy flower stamps. To create the flower I simply cut the toilet paper roll and rounded the corners to make them look like petals.
Once the stamps are created students simply stamp as many flowers as they want on the paper.
After you have stamped the amount of flowers you want on your paper you can add stems and a black centre.
These paintings turned out so great. Some of my students painted dozens of flowers on their paintings, others chose to pain only four or five. All the paintings look amazing.
