DK Readers are levelled books that engage, encourage and inspire young readers. I recently received a selection of great DK Readers. We received three Lego titles and three informational tales.
There are 5 levels of books in the DK Readers collection:
My daughter is a beginner reader. She can fully read level 1 DK Readers and is starting to read level 2 books. I selected level 2 and 3 books because I felt the stories would interest her. We do a lot of reading together so I knew I could help her learn new words with these books.
The DK Readers I selected are great! The Lego books are fun, informative and have great pictures. (I heard so many extra details about The Lego Movie when we read Awesome Adventures).
The Great Panda Tale, Rain Forest Explorer and African Adventure taught us all about animals and other parts of the world.
As with every DK book, DK Readers has wonderful information and pictures. I love the size of DK Readers. They fit in my purse and great to bring on vacation.
We’re working through our summer reading list for our local library. Our DK Reader books have made the list more than once!
