Last weekend my family headed to Vancouver for the LEGO Imagine Nation Tour.
We are big LEGO fans and couldn’t wait to experience the tour.
The LEGO tour was set up in multiple sessions. We attended the afternoon tour on Saturday. Our time slot was from 3pm – 7pm. We lined up with hundreds of other families and were welcomed by one of eight Master Builders.
The tour was very well organized in sections. It was easy to determine where to go by the large banners. My kids went from station to station to build things like a Minecraft shelter, a super speedy race car in LEGO city and a magical portal in LEGO Elves. There were many “building buddies” in bright yellow t-shirts around to answer questions and help kids build great things.
Our favourite stations were those that had little giveaways. We loved the LEGO Star Wars poster, the LEGO City mini pack and the LEGO NEXO Knights that we received.
Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to a presentation from the Master Builder. I’m sure this would have been a very fun workshop.
Overall, I believe that the LEGO Imagination Tour is a great experience for LEGO lovers. I do wish there had been more make-and-take stations and something special to take home when you exit the tour. I think it would have also been fun to have the opportunity to take photos with some LEGO characters (we still love our photo with Emmett from LEGOland California).
The LEGO Imagination Tour sounds amazing young and old alike would love this !
