Books for every Movie Maniac from DK Canada #giveaway

My kids and I are HUGE Disney fans. We have already checked out Monsters University at the theatre and are anticipating Disney Planes this August. We feel so lucky to have just received some amazing Disney/Pixar books by DK Canada. These books are unique, fun and informative!

We received four awesome books from the DK Canada Movie Maniacs collection to browse through and enjoy.

Monsters University: The Essential Guide

My family just checked out Monsters University last weekend and loved it. This book covers everything you need to know about Monsters University. It describes every character, has a map of the university and lots of details about locations like Mike’s room. I love all the quotes from the movie found in the book. I also think the “Did You Know?” facts, the “True and False” questions and the “Scare Score” for each character are lots of fun.

If your child likes the Monsters from Monsters Inc or Monsters University, this is the book for them!

Pixar Character Encyclopedia

This book is incredible. It focusses on 200+ characters from Pixar films. I was blown away by all the characters Pixar has brought to life  starting with Toy Story to Brave. This encyclopedia has a “Did you Know” box on every single page offering little known facts about each character. The film illustrations used on each page are perfect. I absolutely love this book. We’re keeping it on my son’s night table and reading about one new character every night after story time.

The Princess Encyclopedia

This book is an awesome encyclopedia that focusses on all the Disney Princesses. There is an in depth section for nine of the Disney Princesses. Each section starts with the Princesse’s story, it then gives details of every character in the Princesse’s life. If you child loves Princesses I can assure you that they would love this book! It’s like no other Princess book I have ever seen.

The Fairies Encyclopedia

The Fairies Encyclopedia is my daughter’s current favourite. Much like the other DK Encyclopedias it gives details on every single fairy in  Pixie Hollow. This book is filled with great images from the Tinker Belle films, has countless facts and even games! My daughter has already escaped to her room a few times to read through this book.
