In our house we try to make everyday Earth Day. We do our best to reduce, reuse and recycle. Our children understand that we have to take care of our planet and with reminders are great green ambassadors.
Today is Earth Day. I have to say, I love this day! I always make sure to spend some extra time discussing how important our Earth is on that day with my children and students. I try to do an extra effort to reuse things in my classroom that day and always do a recycled craft with my students and my daughter.

The pictures just pop out of DK books and the books open up curiosity, questions and wonder. We love all sorts of books about animals and each picture is definitely worth more than a thousand words.
