My family LOVES Hawaii. We visit the Hawaiian islands often and truly feel close to the Hawaiian culture.
We heard that Disney was creating a movie with a Hawaiian princess years ago when we were staying at Disney Aulani. We couldn’t wait to see a feature film set in one of our favourite places in the world.
Moana did not disappoint. We loved the story of Moana and of demigod Maui. We also enjoyed the songs. They are fun and catchy (we’ve listened to the soundtrack hundreds of times).
I’m pleased to announce that Moana is available on DVD and Blu-Ray today, March 7th. This is a movie you will want to add to your collection!

I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii, it sounds like a beautiful place to be, I’ll probably just have to make do with watching movies focused on Hawaii. 🙂
