DIY: Father’s Day Joke Book

This week I created fun Father’s Day joke books with my students and kids at home.

The project is really easy to do and the result is awesome!

What you need:

  • Several patterns of ties to colour
  • One brass fastener
  • Scissors
  • Felts or crayons (Optional: paints for the cover)
  • Jokes! (Found mine online)

I had one tie printed on card stock. This is the tie I used for the cover of my joke book.

My students had so much fun finding jokes to fill the book. The last tie was designated for a special message for dad.

We decided to do a pointillism project for the cover of the card. This is very easy to do. All you need is a bit of paint and cue tips. All sorts of patterns can be made.

The final product turned out great! I hope my students dads LOVE their joke book!
