I have to admit, I really love “helping” the Easter bunny. Easter is one of my favourite times of the year.
Easter morning is full of surprises in my house. The Easter bunny follows my mom’s tradition and leaves a trail of eggs from each of my children’s beds. My kids love waking up in the morning and following the trail of mini chocolate eggs to see where it leads. At the end of the trail they always find more chocolate and a small toy to enjoy.
I love seeing the excitement in their eyes when they find where the silly bunny hid their loot. Thankfully the Easter bunny is very creative and finds great spots to hide things!
In the afternoon we invite our friends and family to come for an Easter egg hunt in our backyard. The Easter bunny is very sneaky and hides eggs all over the place. He often even leaves a few toys too! Once everyone has filled their Easter basket we put all the chocolate and treats on the living room floor and share it evenly. My kids get so excited about this. They love the challenge of finding the eggs and toys. I love seeing how happy this little tradition makes them.
