All moms have OVER moments. We’ve all experienced being OVERprotective, headOVERheels or OVERexcited.
While packing for my latest family vacation I felt extremely OVERpacked. Swimsuits? Sun screen? Shorts, t-shirts, pants, sweaters… they were all in the bags. Tylenol? Check. Advil – bring that too! Wow, I can honestly say that I *think* I packed it all.
I made sure all the clothing was folded small and used every inch of every suitcase. I managed to pack my family of four in two large suitcases, two carry ons, one diaper bag and one princess bag. Whew. What a job that was!
Strangely enough, we didn’t end up using HALF of what I packed. Which is just fine. At least I had peace of mind that I wouldn’t go without anything important.

love travelling, I am getting better at packing everytime. I am always looking out for light light luggage with lots of straps so my stuff doesn’t fly around
If anything, I underpack. I find that I can always get what I need out and about.
I love your family pic! You guys look excited for your trip!
I am known as an over Mom – I over protect, over organize and over pack — I do not think it is a bad thing to be prepared for any eventuality. Usually if I have it I will not need it – it is what it is
I am also a huge over packer! I’ve always been, even before I’ve had kids. Now when we go on trips, my husband goes over my packing to see what he can take out or what we can buy there to save some room.
Great contest! I have entered. I would love to win with Fisher Price. They have awesome toys/baby things.
Very cute picture!
