My students and kids love doodling. I’ve got lots of cool activity books for my kids to doodle in when they want to get creative.
This Canada Day they’ll be doodling in the all-new Canada Doodles book by Megan Radford with drawings by Peter Cook. This thick doodle book prompts you and your kids to complete tons of great Canadian doodles.
Some of our favourites include “Draw the goats on the roof of the famous Old Country Market in Coombs!” (because it’s a store we actually visit from time to time!) and “Draw some figure eights as you skate on the Rideau Canal”.
This book covers all Canadian provinces and territories. It starts with the West Coast and continues on to the East Coast and territories.
Megan Radford and Peter Cook have come up with some unique scenarios in this book. Canada Doodles is a great book to pick up to teach your children more about our beautiful country and it makes a great gift for friends visiting from another country.
This is also a great book to keep your kids creative during the summer! The best part? They’ll be learning great facts about their country as they are doodling.
Canada Doodles is recommended for ages 8 and up but I can honestly tell you that kids of all ages could enjoy this book! Canada Doodles is available at Indigo.ca and at independent bookstores throughout Canada.
