I recently received the Infinite Shine system by OPI to test out on my nails.
I was so looking forward to trying this revolutionary system. The Infinite Shine system by OPI claims to not require touch ups for 7-10 days.
I received Indignantly Indigo to test out. I loved the vibrant blue colour right away.
The Infinite Shine system requires three steps.
Step One: Prime with a base coat that prevents staining and adheres to nails.
Step Two: Apply lacquer. Choose from one of the 30 brilliant shades in the Infinite Shine line.
Step Three: Apply gloss. This top coat creates a mirror-like dimensional shine.
The process is simple enough. I chose to apply two coats of the lacquer. This was great coverage but did feel quite thick on my nails. My lacquer felt a little thick and a few of my nails dented but did not chip. I had my first chip after 5 days of wearing the lacquer.
The second time I applied the Infinite Shine lacquers I chose to do an accent nail with a regular OPI lacquer. I used Desperately Seeking Sequins on my ring finger. It worked great and made the finish product a little fancier.
Overall I really like the Infinite Shine system by OPI. It’s a nice alternative to a gel manicure.
There are currently 30 colours in the Infinite Shine line. You can purchase the Infinite Shine system at professional salons across Canada and the US.
