If you ask any parent of small children what they crave the most, they will most likely say SLEEP! I know my husband and I wish for a full night’s sleep every night. It rarely happens. Our son likes to get up a few times a night to come see us. It’s challenging and exhausting.
That’s why I was extremely interested in the Gro-Anywhere Blind from the The Gro Company. I loved the idea of making my son’s room darker in minutes. I was hoping that making his room darker would help with his terrible sleep pattern.
With the Gro-Anywhere Blind there is no need to install a permanent blackout blind in your child’s room. This blind has several suction cups positioned on the back of the blind and installs in seconds.
What I love about the Gro-Anywhere Blind:
- It’s very portable (comes in a handy travel pouch)
- It’s quick to install on any window
- It really blocks out light (hello darkness!)
- It adapts to fit many window sizes (it’s maximum size is 130cm x 200cm)
- It has a cute star and moon pattern
- It is a top quality product
The Gro-Anywhere Blind has not made my child sleep through the night (I guess that was wishful thinking on my part) BUT I do love it! It has helped my son think it’s night time even though the sun is still shinning outside. It has helped speed up our night time routine by blocking out sunlight. I am keeping the Gro-Anywhere Blind on my son’s window indefinitely. This product works so well – I’d consider buying it for MY bedroom window.
The Gro-Anywhere Blind is available at Oyaco for $58.00. You can also buy them at baby stores across Canada and the US.

I like the Gro Clock as well as the Lobo Baby Bouncer! Great products!
I recently reviewed their Gro Clock and it has completely transformed our sleep and wake routine. Everyone is sleeping more and the kids don’t feel like babies anymore. They often set the clock during the day and head off to bed. Seriously.
Love that Oyaco is a Canadian company too!

I am still so curious about the Gro Clock. I’m not sure if its too early to try it with my two year old though. I’m not sure he would understand the concept and STAY in his room until the clock tells him its time to get up. I guess its worth trying but I’m still skeptical.
The Gro Clock! Such a great concept!
