Sun Safe with Badger Balm Sunscreen {Giveaway!}

If you’re like me, you’re really looking forward to summer. Sitting in the sun, playing outside at the park having a picnic with your family.

Summer is the best.

One thing we all need to stock up on every summer is sunscreen. In my case, I need lots. During summer, my kids are outside most of the day. I was lucky enough to receive two new bottles of Badger Kids Sunscreen for my little ones. I have reviewed the Baby Badger Sunscreen before and really liked it. I must admit – I LOVE the kids formula even more!

We tested out the Kids Sunscreen Cream (SPF 30) and the Kids Sunscreen Lotion (SPF 30). The first thing I noticed right away was the lovely scent. I adore the new Tangerine and Vanilla scent. It’s fresh and not overpowering.

Why I love the Badger Kids Sunscreens:

  • It has broad spectrum protection for both UVA and UVB
  • It is chemical-free
  • It is 100% Certified Natural and 87% Certified Organic
  • Hypoallergenic

I love both the lotion and the cream. I find the lotion faster to apply as it is thinner than the cream. I use the cream when I know my kids will be playing in water as it is water and sweat resistant for up to 40 minutes.

It is so important to be sun safe. Wearing hats, staying out of the sun at peak hours and playing in the shade are all important measures. Using Badger sunscreen is just another way I make sure I protect my kids from the harsh rays of the sun. These two Badger sunscreens are fabulous and should be in your beach bag this summer.

You can purchase Badger sunscreen at many stores across Canada and online at BadgerBalm.com

  1. We stay out of the sun during those primetime hours. I also have my boys wear rash guard shirts that have an spf in them so I don’t have to worry about keeping those areas covered in sunscreen.

  2. Big floppy hats are a must for our kids, but inevitably they will be taken off so we are sure to lotion up ears, hairline/part, and toes especially! I think people often forget about their toes, nut they can get more sun than anything sometimes and burned toes are no fun.

  3. SOme of my sun tips are always wear a hat when it’s sunny. Avoid the sun as much as possible midday.

  4. My sons and I are very fair skinned. We dont stay too long in the sun. When we are out, we wear hats, sunglasses, and REAPPLY sunscreen OFTEN, at least once an hour. We ALWAYS put sunscreen on our ears!

  5. Definitely don’t forget to wear your hat, and seek out shade when possible. Avoid the sun when at it’s peak.

  6. I wear sunscreen and hats when in the sun! I also try to stay out of the sun when its the hottest part of the day 11-4.

  7. My son and I are both very fair-skinned redheads, so sun safety is really important to us. My tips would be carry a little bottle of sunscreen EVERYWHERE…I have some in my purse, in my car, in the diaper bag…reapply constantly, always wear a hat, and remember, the sun does still shine in winter.
