When I travel with my kids I always pack toys and games. When we go on vacation we usually stay in condos and there is always time and room to play while we wait for everyone to get ready or in the evening before going to bed. I usually pack some Lego Duplo, books and games.
For my last trip Mastermind Toys was nice enough to send over a few games for my family to test out and enjoy while on the go. We received four travel size products. Qwirkle Travel Size, Spot it! Alphabet Game, Amaze and a B. Take it Easel.
My kids were so excited when these games arrived! I couldn’t wait to test them out.
The Spot it! game and Amaze went in my carry on bag. I packed Qwirkle in my luggage. The B. Take it Easel was a bit big for us to bring on this trip. It will be something we take camping or on driving trips.
We loved all four products that we received.
{Amaze}
Amaze is a super fun maze game. To play the game you need to set the path by moving buttons on the left hand side of the game. There are 16 different mazes to complete starting from easiest to most difficult. I loved that this game did not require batteries or need to be plugged in! Finally, a fun travel game that isn’t electronic! We had so much fun figuring out some of the mazes. This is a game that can stomp you again and again. My daughter loves setting it up on difficult levels to see if I can solve the maze. It’s very portable and durable. It’s available from Mastermind Toys for $14.95.
{Quirkle}
Qwirkle is a strategic game. It’s not difficult to play and is so much fun. To play Qwirkle every player tries to create columns and rows with the same pattern or colours. The travel version has 108 tiles and comes in a zippered bag. It packs up very small and doesn’t take a lot of room in your luggage. I can see this being a game I will take on all our family trips! We love this game and my daughter is so good at it. We can play Qwirkle all night! It’s available from Mastermind Toys for $14.95.
{Spot it: Alphabet}
Our favourite game while on our trip was Spot it: Alphabet Game. We started playing this game in the airport when our flight was delayed. There are a few different ways to play the game and they are all so fun. We loved playing The Tower game. This game can get very competitive. I was so surprised to see my six year old beat me many times. This game comes in a sturdy tin. There are also many versions of the game. There’s a Spot it! Game for NHL lovers, animal lovers and even a French vocabulary version. This game is so much fun that I have already bought the original version for my daughter’s friend’s birthday. I’m also considering buying them as Christmas presents for my niece and nephews. Spot it: Alphabet is available for $9.95 at Mastermind Toys.
{B.Take it Easel}
The last item we received was the B. Take it Easel. This is my daughter’s favourite product. She’s quite the artist. This easel is perfect for her! We decided not to pack the B. Take it Easel on this trip since we were flying and making a few lay overs. This easel would be perfect for car travel and camping trips. It is portable, sturdy and comes with beautiful bright markers for the white board and chalk for the chalkboard . It folds up like a briefcase and wipes up well. This is a great product if you’ve got a little artist like me! It’s available at Mastermind Toys for $29.95.
We really loved trying out all these fun travel games. If you’re heading on a trip I highly recommend you pick up some of these travel games from Mastermind Toys.
