Last week my family attended the latest production from Koba Entertainment: The Backyardigans Sea Deep in Adventure.
From the moment we stepped into the theatre we were taken to an underwater world. Parent-friendly music was playing while we took our seats. My kids patiently waited for the show to start and were giddy once the curtains opened and The Backyardigans were introduced one by one.
The Backyardigans Sea Deep in Adventure starts with their theme song. My kids hummed and watched in awe as Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Uniqua and Austin took the stage.
The entire family was entertained by the story of The Backyardigans trying to help a little dolphin. The songs were catchy, the colours on stage were wonderful and the choreography was superb.
Our favourite song was “Nothing too tough for us”. My kids were dancing in their seats during the entire song.
The sets were all great. We loved everything from the dock to the submarine.
My daughter’s favourite part was watching Uniqua and Tasha as mermaids. She also loved the dancers on stage. My son loved Octavia the Octopus.
The show ended with a great song and dance. My children loved seeing The Backyardigans on stage. It was a wonderful family experience.
The Backyardigans are touring across Canada. They will be in Eastern Canada for the next few months. If your children love Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Uniqua and Austin you won’t want to miss this show!
