When I’ve got a bit of free time I always love to paint my nails. I was thrilled when I received four new colours from the Colour Rush nail polish line by The Body Shop this week. I also received a bottle of Sweet Almond Oil Nail Varnish Remover.
I started my manicure by removing my old colour. I was very impressed by how the Sweet Almond Oil remover smelled and removed my polish. It does not smell like other mainstream removers (honestly, I hate how other nail polish removers smell). It also left my cuticles soft and moisturized. Sweet Almond Oil Nail Varnish Remover is acetone free and gentle.
The Body Shop Colour Crush nail polishes are not like every other polish on the market. They are 100% vegan, are quick-dry and have a high gloss finish. They are also enriched with community Fair Trade marula oil.
The four colours I received were: Got the Blues, Meet me at Dusk, Gorgeous Grey and A Grape Afair. I love all four colours and can’t wait to try them all.
I noticed right away how quickly my painted nails dried. So quick that I was almost skeptical and was careful not to touch anything with my fingers. For this mani I applied two coats of “Got the Blues” and one coat of “A Grape Afair” on a featured nail. I used saran wrap before the second colour was dry to give it a marble effect.
I am very impressed with my new Body Shop nail polishes. I just love the four colours I received. They compliment each other and are very affordable. Colour Crush polishes are only $6.00 each. They are available in store and online.
Never knew The Body Shop had naii polish, will definitely have to try it out
I would love to try the Body Shop nail polish line! 🙂
