This week I created fun Father’s Day joke books with my students and kids at home.
The project is really easy to do and the result is awesome!
What you need:
- Several patterns of ties to colour
- One brass fastener
- Scissors
- Felts or crayons (Optional: paints for the cover)
- Jokes! (Found mine online)
I had one tie printed on card stock. This is the tie I used for the cover of my joke book.
My students had so much fun finding jokes to fill the book. The last tie was designated for a special message for dad.
We decided to do a pointillism project for the cover of the card. This is very easy to do. All you need is a bit of paint and cue tips. All sorts of patterns can be made.
The final product turned out great! I hope my students dads LOVE their joke book!
Aww this is such a cute idea..
This is awesome! My boys would love to do this for their dad
That is just the neatest idea I’ve seen in a long time. What a wonderful one thank you!!
