My seven year old daughter is usually the one that tells me about new toys. She hears about new toys on the playground and sees them at play dates. She knows what’s cool, what’s fun and what she wants. My daughter has been telling me about FURBY BOOM for months now. I was so happy when Hasbro asked if I’d like to test one out for the blog.
My daughter was beyond excited when a pink and blue FURBY BOOM arrived at our doorstep. This little creature is super colourful, soft and interactive. She had been telling me for a while now that if she had a FURBY she’d be able to feed it, play with it and it would talk with her.
We started exploring what her new FURBY BOOM could do right away. My kids are quite proficient on the iPad so for us it was natural to downloaded the FURBY BOOM app right away. We scanned our FURBY, named her (Kee-Dah) and started taking care of her. My daughter loves showering, making her FURBY go to the bathroom and feeding her. My son and daughter take turns to feed the FURBY and love seeing her reaction when she doesn’t like certain foods. It’s important to note that you do not need the app to have fun and take care of your FURBY BOOM, this is just an added facet to the toy.

My daughter loves her FURBY BOOM. She has asked her friends to bring their FURBY over when we have play dates. The first thing she does in the morning is take care of her FURBY. She also rushes to it’s side when she comes home from school. I like that’s it’s giving her a bit of responsibility.
I know we still have lots to learn about our FURBY BOOM. So far, we love everything it can do!
