My family recently vacationed at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club on Oahu. While at the resort we ate at their oceanfront restaurant, Longboards Bar and Grill, on several occasions.
Longboards is a casual restaurant located at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach club, right off the lagoon. It has a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. We went to Longboards for lunch, happy hour and dinner on several occasions during our last vacation.
{Happy Hour}
My husband and I took advantage of Longboard’s Happy Hour on several occasions. During Happy Hour they have a selection of tropical drinks, wine and beer on special. They have the best Lava Flows (a slushy tropical drink) in Ko Olina. Longboards also has food specials during Happy Hour. I recommend the wings and garlic fries. Happy Hour is on everyday from 2-5pm.
{Sunset Dinner Special}
Our favourite meal at Longboards was the sunset diner we had one evening. Longboards has a sunset dinner special every night of the week. For $29 you get a starter salad, a choice of one of 4 entrees and an ice cream desert. My husband ordered the Chef’s Mahi, I ordered the 10 oz steak and garlic mashed potatoes, the kids shared a keiki burger meal.
Both my husband and I were so impressed with our meal. My husband always orders fish in restaurants and is very picky on how the fish is cooked. His Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection. My steak was also absolutely delicious. Both entrees came with a large portion of seasonal vegetables. We had so many vegetables we were able to share them with our children.
{Kids Meals}
As mentioned, Longboards has a kids menu. My kids were overjoyed that it came with a colouring sheet and crayons (not all restaurants in Ko Olina have this perk). The kids meals were large portions, my little eaters usually ended up sharing one kids meal.
Wether it is for Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour or Dinner, there is something for everyone at Longboards. We never had to wait long for a table, always had fast, friendly service and our meals were delicious. I really like the casual atmosphere at Longboards and the view is spectacular!
If you are staying in Ko Olina you can walk to Longboards along the lagoon path. If you are driving you can park at the Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club. Just inform the valet that you are eating at Longboards.

WOW! What a beautiful place to visit and the food looks delicious
Is the happy hour in the restaurant where kids can be or in just bar?
The happy hour is in the restaurant Tina. Kids are welcome there. You can also order the Happy Hour specials poolside if you are staying at the Marriott.
it looks super nice there, more so since it snowed again today – not much but I’m so passed snow and cold it’s time for sunshine and warmth!
The food looks so yummy, it has gotten soooo hungry!
This looks like a beautiful place to visit. The food looks great and I love that blue dress.
YUM! The food looks amazing and it’s great that you found a place you loved right at the resort. Plus food that makes the kids happy is always a plus.
Oh lava flows, how I love thee!
THe mahi mahi entree looks good!
WOW! I don’t know what looks better the food or the scenery!! What a beautiful place to visit and I’d go in a heartbeat!
Oh man, that place looks and sounds amazing! I would love to go there… I would love to go to Oahu period! 😉
Well I must say that food looked AMAZING! I loved the portion sizes too. Sometimes going to a restaurant and getting something that is on the smaller size can be frustrating especially if you have paid good money for it. Thanks for sharing:)
