I didn’t think I’d be into this “rough” look on my nails, but I gotta say – it’s pretty cool! Nicole by OPI created this neat textured nail lacquer. When the nail lacquer dries, it creates this pebbled finish. It’s really quite fun, totally different from what you’re used to with the perfect, silky finish of OPI but so relevant for spring!
I received a couple colours to try and I decided to apply “On What Grounds” for my recent trip to Hawaii. “On What Grounds” is the turquoise in the set of four beautiful spring shades as part of this Roughles set. In addition to “On What Grounds”, Nicole by OPI has released a purple, pink and yellow shade. All perfect for spring time nail fun!
Another thing I really liked about this polish was the ease with which it went on. Since it has a rough finished texture, you don’t have to be a nail artist to apply it. I love that. I can quickly paint my nails while my little one is napping and feel like it’s dry and ready to go when she gets up.
The speckles are also a slightly different shade than the polish itself, so it creates a multi-coloured look. Overall, I’m totally excited about this Roughles nail lacquer by Nicole by OPI. I love the texturized look of this OPI line of nail polishes. So fun!
I think I would like the texture. I’m not that good at applying nail polish and often don’t like the way it looks when I’m finished. I think this would be better.
I love the colours in this collection, not sure about the texture but I am planning on picking up a bottle to try it out!
