My son has recently discovered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He absolutely loves these green guys, I think it’s so great that they’ve made a big comeback.
My son is only 4 years old so he’s not ready for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles yet. That’s why I’m excited that SpinMaster Toys has released a line of TMNT toys for younger kids. The Half-Shell Heroes are perfect for kids aged 3 and up. They are smaller than the original toys, are easy to move and stand easily on their own two feet. The play sets and accessories are not scary but fun and colourful.
We received two great Half-Shell Heroes play sets from SpinMaster toys to test out. The Half-Shell Heroes Super Sewer HQ and the Shellraiser automatically grabbed my son’s attention. We could tell these were super cool sets from the moment we opened the box.
{Super Sewer HQ}
The Super Sewer HQ is a large city scene that comes with Mikey and Splinter. It has tons of traps, makes lots of sounds and is very colourful. My son especially loves the T-Rawket that comes with this set. With this T-Rawket your turtle can zoom through the city scene and appear at the bottom of the sewer. Other cool features include the Turtle Power sling shot, the water tower slide and the sewer cover trap door. The Super Sewer HQ says over 50 phrases and sounds. Your kids will love hearing all their favourite TMNT sayings as they play.
{Shellraiser}
The Half-Shell Heroes Shellraiser is a very fun vehicle for your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Shellraiser come with Leo. It has lots of great features including a cannon that fires trash, it can fire sewer cover disks and has a barrel that can bite (and hold) stuff. The Shellraiser says over 20 phrases and can fit all four Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles.
My son loves these Half-Shell Heroes sets so much, he’s already told me he wants to use his birthday money to buy more TMNT vehicles and characters.
I really like these two Half-Shell Heroes play sets. They are well made, encourage lots of imagination and are super fun. You can purchase the Super Sewer HQ and the Shellraiser at Toys R Us across Canada and the US.

My younger daughter is mad for these guys. My older daughter is too, Actually so is my nephew! LOL. Every child I know pretty much would LOVE this. I like how cute and compact it seems also. My kiddo would play this endlessly with her cousin.
The Ninja Turtles are such a classic toy! I bet some big kids will have a ton of fun playing with their younger family members and these toys.
