Great Books for your Little Valentines #Giveaway

I absolutely love Valentine’s Day. I let my family know how much I love them everyday but I do go the extra mile to show them on Valentine’s Day.

I always like to have a little gift for my kids on Valentine’s morning. Usually it’s a new book.

There are so many great love themed books out right now that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. Harper Collins sent me some new books, perfect for love day, to read with my kids. Here are three of my current favourites.

{Love Monster}

In this wonderfully warm and witty story, a monster goes looking for someone to love him—and it’s only when he’s just about to give up that he finally finds what he is looking for.

My kids love this board book. We really enjoyed this tale of a monster looking for love. We especially loved when love found him!

{Clark the Shark Takes Heart}

Clark the Shark goes overboard to try to impress his crush, Anna Angelfish, until he discovers that when it comes to showing you care, something thoughtful and small can be the best gift.

We are familiar with Clark the Shark and really loved this story of Clark and Anna Angelfish. It was fun to see Clark trying to get Anna’s attention throughout the story. My kids and I were so pleased when he won Anna over at the end of the story. Harper Collins kids books

{Did You Know That I Love You?}

From her soft kisses and soothing hugs to her tasty tea and warming mug, Bird sweetly expresses her love to Fox so he knows that no matter how big he gets or where he goes, her love is always with him.

I absolutely love the illustrations in this book. The story is simple but has a great message. Harper Collins kids books

{Paddington Treasury}

We also received  the new Paddington Treasury book to enjoy. This hardcover book contains six classic Paddington tales. My children loved the new Paddington movie so I know they will love reading this book again and again.

All these great titles are available at bookstores throughout Canada. I strongly believe they are all great Valentine’s Day gift options!

  6. We would like Clark the Shark as my little kindy student is already becoming quite the reader and rhyming words are another good way to practice our new skills 🙂

  7. “Love Monster” looks really cute. I sometimes tease my daughter by calling her a “–” monster when she has a lot of one thing i.e. banana monster or cereal monster, so this would be a fun book for us.
