Find the Perfect Playtex Cup for your Child #giveaway

Most parents love the transition from bottles to sippy cups. My children never took the bottle so when they started using sippy cups  it gave me so much more freedom!

One brand that I always trust and go to is Playtex. Recently, Playtex redesigned their cups and added a new Twist ‘n Click  technology. This new feature allows you to hear a click when the cup is sealed tight – such a helpful feature because no one wants spilled milk!

Playtex has four types of cups for little ones. My sister and I put them to the test with our little ones. Here are the details on all four cups and why we like them.

TrainingTime Cup:

  • Designed for ages 4 months and up
  • Easy transition from bottle to sippy cups
  • Removable handles

I’ve been trying different sippy cups now for a while with my baby.  She doesn’t seem to understand the concept of lifting the cup to her mouth.  I like the Playtex TrainingTime Cup because of the handles. Right away, she picked up the cup on her own which is an improvement from our other cups. It’s spill proof which is required right now – hence the upside down cup in the photo!

AnyTime Cup:

  • Designed for ages 12 months and up
  •  Comes as a Spout Cup or Straw Cup

We received the Playtex AnyTime Straw Cup. I love this cup! It has a wide opening so its easy to fill it. The straw is a great feature. My son was a little confused at first and kept tipping the cup. I explained that he had to keep it lowered. He now specifically asks for this particular cup several times per day.

PlayTime Cup:

  • Designed for ages 12 months and up
  • Cups are insulated to keep drinks cold

This is another great option. The PlayTime spout cup is easy to wash (so important!) and comes in cute patterns. The cup is larger and insulated. Perfect for when you’re on the go with your little one!

TravelTime Cup:

  • Designed for ages 24 months and up
  • Cups are insulated to keep drinks cold
  • Large size (355ml)

playtex sippy cups review

This is a great cup for my 3 year old. I like that it’s larger than his other sippy cups and that it keeps his drinks colder longer. We spend lots of time outside in the summer. This is the cup I’ll be using when we go to the park or bike rides. I also really like the cute designs. Our elephant design is colourful and fun.

With so many choices there’s a Playtex cup for every child! The best part about all the above mentioned cups is that they are leak proof. Playtex cups are dishwasher safe (thank you!) and are BPA free. Trust me, I’ve filled these cups up and tipped them and shaken them and nothing has leaked through.

Playtex also has an amazing guarantee, if you are not completely satisfied, return the cup for a full refund of purchase price or replacement.

Playtex cups are available at stores across Canada and the US. You can also purchase them online at Toys R Us. They retail for $6.99 for 1-packs and $10.99 for 2- packs.

  1. The travel time cup looks good. Great for a trip to the park. Nice and big to bring lots of water.
