Fuel up at Lunch Time with Trudeau

In August I received the coolest lunch containers. The Fuel collection by Trudeau is everything you would want in a lunch container.

Sadly, they sat on my counter for weeks. Why? Because school didn’t start in British Columbia until three weeks ago!

When school started I was so excited to put these containers to the test.

I received a Bento Box, a Salad on the Go container, a Vacuum Food Jar, a Snack n’ Dip container and a Hungry Bag.

I’ve put all these products to the test and am so impressed with them. Here are my thoughts on each of them.

{The Fuel Bento Box}

I kind of wish I had two of these. The Fuel Bento Box is awesome. It’s easy to open (important for little ones) and has great separated containers. There are two main containers in the bento box and they are microwave safe.

I’ve had so much fun packing my daughter’s lunch in the Fuel Bento Box. She demands I use it everyday which works for me.

{Salad on the Go}

This is a smart product. Why? Because it comes equipped with an ice pack and a dressing container. This container is the perfect size for a lunch size salad. The separate salad dressing container screws into the lid of the container.

I love this salad on the go container because I do not like adding my dressing right away when packing a salad. I find this makes my salad soggy. I also love the ice pack feature because I don’t always have time to pop my lunch in the fridge when I get to work.

{Vacuum Food Jar}

I’m always on the lookout for a good thermos. My kids LOVE bringing soup and warm pasta to school for lunch.

I love the look of this vacuum food jar. It has a great handle on it and is a good size. I tested it a few times with my daughter’s lunches. When I use this food jar I always fill it with boiling water for about 10 minutes. After the container has heated up I pour out the water and add the warm meal inside.

My daughter said that her food was still warm (but not pipping hot) by lunchtime. I’m happy with this product and will keep using it for my daughter’s hot lunches.

{Snack n’ Dip}

This is the coolest container. It’s so smart. I just love it. Before I had this container I had to put my daughter’s veggies in one container and her dip in another. It made her lunch bag bulky and meant I had an extra container to clean everyday. The Fuel Snack n’ Dip is perfect for veggies and dip. We also use it for yogurt and granola. I absolutely LOVE this container. I think every family needs one or two!

The Snack n’ Dip comes with a build in mini knife. I think this container would be great for crackers and spreadable dip or cheese.

{Hungry Bag}

The Hungry Bag has become my new lunch bag. I just adore this insulated lunch bag. It fits the Fuel Bento Box perfectly, is stylish and has a great handle. It also squishes down perfectly when you need to store it. The Hungry Bag is water resistant and washable.
