LeapPad Ultra: The Ultimate Learning Tablet #MBSGiftGuide

I have been a fan of LeapFrog products for years now. I have always appreciated the educational side of the LeapFrog Explorer and the LeapPad.

My daughter has been enjoying her LeapFrog Explorer for over three years now. She’s built a large collection of games for her Explorer and still loves taking it on trips or using it when she has screen time at home.

I felt it was time for an upgrade. That’s why I was so happy to test out the new LeapPad Ultra XDi. I thought the new LeapPad Ultra XDi would be perfect for my seven year old for so many reasons.

The LeapPad Ultra XDi is not like any other tablet we have ever tested. This tablet is built tough, has a large high-res screen and comes equipped with wifi.

Things I like about the LeapPad Ultra XDi:

  • It allows kids to browse LeapFrog approved kids videos and more online
  • It includes Art Studio Ultra where kids can edit photos and create cool masterpieces
  • It has access to 800+ apps and games
  • It has an MP3 player that includes 10 songs, you can also load your own favourite songs
  • Parents can see their child’s progress with the LeapFrog Learning Path
  • It is durable and has a rechargeable battery

I am so looking forward to my daughter enjoying her new LeapPad Ultra. I know she’ll feel like a big kid when she uses this new tablet. I love that the games she plays and stories she reads on her LeapPad are educational. I also like that she can use all the games she used to play on her LeapFrog Explorer on the LeapPad Ultra.

The LeapPad Ultra Xdi is available in stores across Canada and the US. It is recommended for children aged 4-9 years old.

To find out more about the LeapPad Ultra XDi check out the LeapFrog website. You can also follow LeapFrog on Facebook and Twitter for up to date information and special offers.

I’d love to know, what do you think your kids would like about this tablet?

  1. That’s great that it comes built in with wi-fi. I know that would be a total game changer for my kids. We haven’t tried out any Leapfrog Leappad’s yet, but this one seems great. Thanks for the review.
