Summer time is here and that usually means I bust out the fluorescent nail colour! What’s better than tanned skin and neon nail lacquer? I’m not sure… but maybe a yummy summer beverage to go with. OPI has released it’s first ever full-sized neon colours and I got to try a mini set of the shades.
This hot set includes Juice Bar Hopping (tangerine), Life Gave Me Lemons, You Are So Outta Lime!, Push & Pur-Pull, Hotter Than You Pink, and Down To The Core-Al – all super fun neon colours for the summer.
I don’t know what it is about neons but I think they make me feel young – it reminds me of my youth when neon was in. I played around with Life Gave Me Lemons, Push & Pur-Pull and Down To The Core-Al and they all make fun combinations if you have time to play around with the colours. I landed on Hotter Than You Pink and Down To The Core-Al in the end – they’re both great shades of pink and coral and when you finish the look with OPI top coat, you’re set – the colour shimmers as bright as a hot summer day.
I didn’t pair the colours with the OPI white base coat but if you do, you’ll get an even more intense pop of colour.
