One of my favourite places to go as a family is Whistler, BC. It’s a short drive from our home and offers amazing skiing in the winter and fun outdoor activities in the summer.
When we head to Whistler, we always stay in Creekside.
Creekside is just a few kilometers from Whistler village and has so much to offer. You’ll find shops, restaurants and the Creekside Gondola at the base of Whistler mountain. Whistler Kids has a location in Creekside and you can also get gear rentals at CanSki for your day on the mountain.
The three properties I recommend in Creekside are:
Legends Creekside
Legends is a condo style hotel located at the base of Whistler mountain. It has a great pool, two hot tubs, and a games room. We have stayed at Legends several times and have always enjoyed the suites and the proximity to the slopes.

First Tracks Lodge
First Tracks is another property located directly beside the Creekside Gondola. The condos at First Tracks are well appointed and very luxurious.
I especially like staying at First Tracks when I know my kids are taking lessons with Whistler Kids. Several suites at First Tracks have the perfect view of the lesson slope. This property also has a great outdoor heated pool and hot tub.

Evolution
Evolution is a modern condo style hotel. It is within walking distance to the Creekside Gondola. The suites at Evolution are very stylish. Evolution also has a great pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. There is also a games room at Evolution.
Evolution is also a pet friendly hotel.

All three properties are managed by Lodging Ovations. You’ll always find great offers on the Lodging Ovations site (even in the winter!)
My family has been fortunate enough to enjoy staying in all three properties and have been happy and comfortable in all of them.
I highly recommend booking a unit at any of these properties for your next stay in Whistler!
Wow, I’ve actually found a post where the comments aren’t closed! I’ve been to Whistler but only on a day visit in the summer. I didn’t get to see much as we only stopped for a bite to eat but from all accounts it’s a great place for skiers and winter sports. These lodgings look wonderful, I’d love to stay in one of them one day 🙂
Going out west is next on our list of places to go.. I would love to go to Whistler!
