As a mom it’s sometimes difficult to get some me time. Between packing lunches, driving kids to school and classes, cooking and cleaning there isn’t a lot of time left to relax and rejuvenate.
Most people go for a coffee or to the spa when they need me time. I would rather shop. I’m a bit of a shopaholic. I love finding a good deal and being the first to spot new products. When I need me time I ask my husband to look after the kids and I head to the mall.
Recently I was asked by #ColectiveBias to shop for some Nivea products. The first place I thought of when I heard SHOP was Target. Target is my favourite store. I’m there twice a week. I love the layout of Target stores, the deals, the product lines that they carry and the prices. If I need me time, I head to Target. (Lucky for me it’s just minutes from my house!)
I have purchased and enjoyed Nivea products before but hadn’t stocked up on any of their products in a while. I was so impressed with the large selection of Nivea products at Target. I found shower creams, deodorants, hand creams, face creams and face washes. A girl could go wild buying Nivea products.
I had a difficult time selecting only a few items because there were so many things I wanted to try. Nivea products were in a few places of the personal care section. Nivea products were mixed in with other brands but were very easy to find. In the end I chose Free Time Shower Cream, Invisible Deodorant, Aqua Effect Gentle Cleansing Wipes, two Smooth Replenishing hand cream and Refreshingly Soft Cream. Nivea products are very competitively priced. I was so impressed that I got all six products for only $20. What a great value.
After my great shopping trip I headed home for more me time. A warm bath so I could enjoy my new shower cream.
The free time shower cream is my favourite of all the products I purchased. The scent is amazing and it lathers on so well. My skin feels soft after using it. The free time shower cream is a product I will be buying again and again.
I also love the Nivea Smooth Replenishing hand cream. I’ve now got one hand cream in my purse and one in my desk at work. My hands get so dry during the day that this is a must have product.
Overall I have to say my me time this week was pretty great. I look forward to my next dose of me time. Hopefully it will be sooner than later!
