New Trendy Swim Styles at Swimco

Fact: I’m not a size 2 but one of my favourite things to do before going away on holidays is going SWIMSUIT shopping.

Yes. I love it.

I especially love going to Swimco because they always have the latest trends, the staff has great product knowledge and are so helpful.

I’m getting ready for a family holiday to Hawaii and really wanted a new suit for the trip. Since my sister is traveling with me I thought it would be fun to bring her along to get a suit too.

I was so excited to try out some new trendy suits. This year Aztec prints, bold blues, sport luxe, strappy swim, high necks, sexy one pieces, and crochets are super trendy. I saw (and tried on) so many great suits at Swimco. Both my sister and I loved all the trendy styles. It was so difficult to decide what to bring with us on holidays…

My Selection

Last year I left on holidays with two gorgeous tankinis. These suits are still in perfect shape so this year I decided to purchase a bikini.

I loved so many of the styles I tried on but the suit I was most drawn to was a the Sea it Through high neck crochet bikini by BLUE Rod Beattie. I fell in love with the bright colour and thought the crochet overlay was so beautiful. The high neckline is new to me. I really like the way this top looks.

My Sister’s Selection

My sister loves stripes. She already has three styles of bikinis with colourful stripes. Her goal during this trip was to select something different from her other bikinis. She was also aiming for something trendy and fun.

After trying on about 15 bikinis she settled on a super cool black Body Glove Vision Alani Strappy Halter bikini. This halter style bikini top has a very unique strappy back. The front of the bikini top has a very subtle shear edge. This is a great classic bikini with a bit of edge.

We Both Chose

We didn’t stop there! Swimco has so many great cover ups, sandals, hats and more. We tried on some pretty cute cover ups but we BOTH fell in love with a pair of Roxy Endless Summer Boardshorts. (We’re sisters after all… we have similar taste).

These shorts have a great roll over waistband. They are a great length (2″ inseam) and can be worn in and out of the water. We chose these Roxy Endless Summer Boardshorts in black. I know we will both be wearing them lots during our trip and for running and yoga when we get back home.

My sister and I were so impressed with the selection at Swimco. The customer service was great and we love what we chose for our trip.

You can purchase these great swimsuits online or at your local Swimco store. I am very impressed with the quality of these bikinis and boardshorts. They are trendy, beautiful and will make us feel great on the beach!

  3. Bathing-suit shopping ranks up there with a visit to the dentist for me,LOL. But, I love the choices you and your sister made; they are beautiful! That blue is gorgeous!

  4. Having kids really messes with my Swim Suit ready body. I need a new swimming suit because there is no way I can get back into my old one in time. I like the swim shorts!

  5. Ah the dreaded swim suit season. I know I need a new one this summer after a couple water park adventures. the slides did a number on my good suit. I really like the Roxy Endless Summer Boardshorts that you posted!

  6. I love that blue bathing suit and the board shorts. Unfortunately, I’ll most likely make do with the swim suit I have, as I really don’t like swim suit shopping!
