Nice wheels: the Guzzie and Guss 042

For the last two weeks I’ve been testing out the Guzzie and Guss 042 stroller.

I must admit I was overwhelmed at first because this stroller has a lot of features. I had to follow the instruction manual to make sure I was testing the stroller out to its full capacity.

After only a few days of use I became a pro and really started liking this stroller.

Here are my top favourites:

  • The size – this stroller fits well in the car and in tight spaces like store aisles
  • The  smooth ride – the G+G042 glides everywhere. I can easily maneuver it with one hand.
  • The reversible handle – super cool feature that can have you looking at baby with just a click
  • The seat positions – my favourite seat position is when my baby is facing me, nothing feels better than watching your little one when you’re walking

Things I would have liked:

  • A cup holder
  • A window in the canopy

Overall, the Guzzie and Guss 042 performs very well. I’d say its right in line with all the top strollers on the market today.

For two weeks I took this stroller everywhere with me. I walked through the city, on chip trails and more. I definitely turned heads when pushing the G+G042. Not only is this stroller very attractive, it’s a smooth ride and it’s easy to fold down. It also doesn’t take much room in the trunk of my car.

One thing to keep in mind is that this stroller has 3 separate attachments to it. This works well for some people, not so well for others. It’s possible to keep the universal car seat adaptor in the trunk of your car and have the stroller folded down with the seat in it. However, you probably wouldn’t have room for the bassinette, the folded stroller and the car seat adaptor in your trunk.

The stroller performs best with the air filled tires at the back. If you switch the handle its best to click the rear wheels in the locked position. This means you can only walk a straight path.

The Guzzie and Guss 042 comes with lots of extras. It includes the bassinette, the foot muff, the rain cover, the universal car seat adaptor and a walking tether

You can buy the G+G042 at specialty stores across Canada and on Amazon.com in the USA for $599.99.
