Tablet Fun with the Vtech InnoTab3 #review #giveaway

The holidays are just around the corner and you can bet that electronics will be making your child’s list this holiday season.

We recently received an awesome VTech InnoTab3 to test out. My daughter was thrilled when she opened the box to see what she was going to get to play with.

{About the InnoTab3}

When you open the InnoTab3 box, you’re ready to go. The Vtech InnoTab3 comes with batteries and is pre-loaded with 16 Apps. It also comes with one cartridge with extra games. The InnoTab3 has a 4.3″ colour touch screen. It comes with two styluses.

This tablet is also equipped with a clock, a calculator and a calendar. You can turn the volume up or down on the InnoTab3. You can also plug in earphones.

If your child is familiar with a hand held device or a computer they should get the hang of the InnoTab3 pretty quickly. My daughter was a pro at playing on the InnoTab3 soon after she turned it on.

{InnoTab3 Features}

The InnoTab3 has lots of cool features. My daughter’s favourite feature is the camera – it takes pictures and videos! The camera on the InnoTab3 rotates 180 degrees. So it’s easy to take a picture of yourself or of others. She’s gone around the entire house (several times) and taken pictures and videos of people and things. She then manipulates the pictures and adds stickers and fun colours to them. She absolutely loves this “game” on the InnoTab3. I find that the best pictures she has taken are outside in daylight. There is no flash so evening pictures don’t turn out so great.

The InnoTab3 also plays MP3s. Unfortunately you cannot transfer songs from your iTunes list to the InnoTab3. You can however purchase music in the Learning Lodge.

My daughter loved going to the Learning Lodge to download a game. Her favourite downloaded game is called Dress Up!  We were pleasantly surprised to see that when you plug your InnoTab3 for the first time in the Learning Lodge you are entitled to download a game for free. Downloading the game was very fast and easy. The Learning Lodge has a huge variety of games to download. They have everything from Dora games to Disney Planes. They range in prices from $2.99 – $27.99.

{Final Thoughts}

Overall I can tell that the InnoTab3 is a durable product. I know that my daughter will enjoy it for a long time – especially if we purchase more fun games for it (Santa… are you listening?) I’ve always trusted and like Vtech products.

      1. Now I need to keep my fingers crossed so that I can save my cell phone LOL I am sure one of these days he will end up dropping it in a toilet or hiding it somewhere and I wont be able to find it. Oh the joys of toddler hood

  80. My daughter would love the apps and the camera and the fact you can put music on it. I would love that it is pretty loaded and comes ready to go with batteries!
