Winter Skin Care with Shoppers Drug Mart #SDMWinterSkin

As soon as winter hits, my skin feels tight and dry. I have to moisturize my skin – especially my face – the moment I get out of the shower.

Thankfully, Shoppers Drug Mart has everything I need to care for my skin.

I love that when I step into a Shoppers Drug Mart I can get unbiased expert advice. Did you know that when you go to a Shoppers Drug Mart store a Beauty Expert can do a complimentary beautyRx Skin Analysis on your skin?

The beautyRx Skin Analysis consists of:

  • Moisture Checker (which measures your skin’s hydration levels)
  • Video Microscope (that magnifies your skin’s surface by 30 times to help determine your skin type).

With this information a Beauty Expert can recommend the perfect product for your skin type.

This winter I’ll be using Biotherm Aquasource Cocoon Ultra Comfort Balm-in-Gel. It sounds like a perfect moisturizer for my dry face. I like that it’s paraben free and will moisturize my face for up to 48hrs.

It’s so important to take care of our delicate skin. I highly recommend you head to your local Shoppers Drug Mart to check out a wide selection of skin care products for yourself and the family, get your complementary beautyRx Skin Analysis and earn Shoppers Optimum Points on participating products!

I’d love to know what products you use on your skin during the winter.

  1. I had no idea about the 2000 optimum points offer, WOOT! That is such a great deal! 😀 Can’t wait to brave the cold and go test out SDM’s beautyRx Skin Analysis tool. Am so curious about what it’ll show.

  2. I love Biotherm products very good consistent quality! I had no idea Shoppers offers a beautyRx Skin Analysis!?
The Moisture Checker sounds very interesting, but the Video Microscope sounds a bit scary! (coming from a sun worshipper) lol

  3. Winter is the hardest time of the year to keep our skin moisturized. My skin seems to eat up all the moisture and I am constantly re applying all day long. I am always looking for something new to try on my skin. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  4. Lucky for me I don’t tend to get dry facial skin in winter (lips are another matter!). Wow…did not know you could have this analysis done at Shoppers. The microscope one sounds rather scary! lol. I may just have to check this out next time I’m there. Thanks for the great info Ladena!
