Sun Safe with Ombrelle - My Family Stuff

When I travel the number one thing I always pack is sunscreen.

I don’t want to go shopping for sunscreen when I arrive at my destination. I also find that buying sunscreen at home is usually much more affordable then when on vacation.

This year for our Hawaiian holiday, we stuffed our suitcases with Ombrelle sunscreen.

We left with Ombrelle SPF 50+ Ultra Light Advanced weightless body lotion, Kids SPF 30+ waterproof lotion, SPF 15+ complete water resistant lotion and a sport SPF 60+ clear continuous spray sunscreen.

The entire family started the vacation with the Ombrelle SPF 60+ continuous spray. This spray sunscreen was so easy to apply. Ombrelle continuous spray sunscreen is a broad-spectrum sunscreen specially formulated for active individuals. It’s fast drying, non-sticky and water resistant.

Once we used up the continuous spray we used the Kids Ombrelle 30+ waterproof lotion on the kids and the 50+ Ultra Light Advanced body lotion on the adults.

Things I like about Ombrelle sunscreen:

They absorb quickly
They are easy to apply (the lotions we tested out were incredibly fluid)
They do not leave a thick white residue on skin
They are hypoallergenic
They come in many formulas and SPF levels

We reapplied Ombrelle sunscreen many times throughout the day. We never burnt once when using Ombrelle sunscreen.

We use the Sport spf 40……one of my “go-to” sunscreens nowadays! Great stuff!

The Continuous Spray sounds easy use, I’ll look out for it.

I’ve used Ombrelle before and it’s a fabulous sun protector. My skin was moisturized and didn’t burn at all.

My daughter has eczema and this one of the few products we can use that doesn’t irritate her skin.

I was just listening to the radio and they said literally 2 mins ago that the key to looking young is being obsessive with the sun screen

Luckily I don’t stay out in the sun long enough to get burned. I don’t like the ingredients in sunscreen. Sometimes I put zinc paste on my nose. 😉

We have started looking for sunscreen which doesn’t contain oxybenzone, which can bleach coral and damage coral reefs as well as being a hormone disrupting compound, so I’d need to look at the ingredients. If it doesn’t have it I’d love to try it.

I have Very fair skin and burn easy. I haven’t tried Ombrelle sunscreen but I will after reading your post. I also haven’t tried the spray on ones. I think that would work fantastic for behind my legs. Thanks for the great information 🙂

We love using Ombrelle sunscreen. I liked the spray because it was fast to use but when we go out and I have the time we use the lotion then the spray half way through the day to top up the protection.
