Every year, a new girl is introduced. The girl of the year always deals with current world issues and is relatable to all girls and boys. The 2021 Girl of the Year doll is Kira Bailey. She’s a young girl who loves animals.
In Canada, American Girl dolls are available exclusively at Indigo.
About Kira
Kira Bailey is an animal lover. She is invited by her aunt to go spend some time at her Wildlife Sanctuary in Australia. Kira loves taking care of the koalas, wombats, and kangaroos.
Like all American Girl dolls, Kira is 18″ tall and can stand on her own.
Kira has green eyes and long wavy blond hair. Kira wears a tie-dye tank top, a pleated skirt, and brown lace-up boots. Kira also comes with the Kira Down Under paperback book.
The Girl of the Year is beautiful. She has interests like young girls her age. She is a great role model.

American Girl always releases wonderful accessories to go with their Girl of the Year.
