About the Stovetop Sear & Cook

This is not your average slow cooker. The Stovetop Sear & Cook slow cooker allows you to start cooking your meal on the stovetop and then transfer the dish to the slow cooker. I love this feature because it eliminates extra dishes and extra steps.

My favourite part of this slow cooker is the non-stick removable pot. It’s lightweight and easy to clean.

  1. I would start with a batch of beef stew. It’s one meal I could happily eat every week. We usually eat it served over mashed potatoes.

  2. I’ll cook beef stew, which requires lots of time cooking, this slow cooker would save time, energy and cost, too !

  3. I would love to make a nice stew in the slowcooker. Itā€™s so nice that you can just let it cook and do lots of other stuff at the same time and you know itā€™s not going to burn. I also feel like the taste is so much better when you cook with it ā˜ŗļø

  4. A beef Chili! The kids love it and I wish I had a slow cooker so I can set it on a timer and have this amazing convenience and flavours!

  5. I would start by making my mom’s minestrone recipe! This would be so amazing to own! Thanks for the awesome giveaway. Happy Holidays!

  6. I’ve never used one. I read some of the other comments and got some inspiration – looks like soups, stews and chili are great starting points!

  7. The first thing I would make with a new slow cooker is a big pot of chili … perfect for this time of year and enough to freeze for quick meals. My slow cooker is over 40 years old so it is time for a replacement.

  8. I would totally make a version of Butter Chicken, conducive to the low carb/low fat/low-calorie protocol of Ideal Protein’s eating plan! My ancient Crock-Pot isn’t cutting it anymore, unfortunately!

  9. I would make adobo pulled pork. It is my family’s favourite and I always enjoy the leftover for lunch sandwich.

  10. I have not tried one before but there are so many wonderful recipes for a slow cooker. I would make beef stew first.

  11. LOVE Slow Cookers! They make everything so flavour rich! The first thing I’d make in my new slow cooker would be a lovely Beef Stew! Super delicious, very nutritious and easy to make, it doesn’t get much better than that!
