Today was an exciting day for my kids and I, we attended the Imagination Movers concert in Victoria, BC. This was their first stop on the Back in Blue Canadian Tour.
Both my children, age 3 and 7 love watching the Movers on TV. They love their songs and the mysteries and fun they have on the show.
{What to expect during the Back in Blue Concert}
Get ready for a full rock concert when you take your seat. The Imagination Movers Back in Blue concert is not your typical kid production. During the concert Scott, Smitty, Dave and Rich played guitars, sang and were so much fun. They also had a special drummer guest named Kyle to help them rock on.
Right from the beginning the Imagination Movers were interacting with the audience and walking and jumping down from the stage to give kids (and moms and dads) high fives. I was so impressed with how approachable and genuine the Movers were. You could feel that they wanted each and every child in the audience to feel special.
Some of our favourite parts of the show included the flying toilet paper, the huge balloons thrown into the audience and the confetti falling from the sky. The Movers had a lot of other surprises that we found pretty cool (I don’t want to spoil it all for you!)
During the concert the Movers taught kids how to do lots of cool dance moves. They sang some of their most popular songs and some new – very catchy – tunes.
My children couldn’t wait to see Warehouse Mouse. They love this little guy. Warehouse Mouse gave the Movers the run around and told the audience lots of funny jokes.
{Meet the Movers!}
After the show we had the opportunity to Meet and Greet the Imagination Movers. The line-up was filled with kids who couldn’t wait to meet their favourite Disney Junior stars. I was impressed once again to see the Movers take their time to chat with every single child in the line-up and pose for some great pictures with each group in line. My kids loved meeting the Movers, took pictures with them and got their autographs.
Overall this was a fabulous concert that got everyone in the audience moving. It was an upbeat concert with no pauses. The Imagination Movers are great performers who truly want everyone in the audience to have a good time.
Their Back in Blue Canadian Tour is just starting now and ends October 1, 2014. You can see them in a city near you soon. To see the full list of stops and get show tickets and Meet and Greet tickets check out the Imagination Movers website.

Looks like a ton of fun!!! My girls love dancing so they’d totally be into that. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Looks like it was a lot of fun! I need to take Keira to one, she would DIE of excitement!
My kids are too old for this but I actually have heard a lot of great things about these guys! They are very creative. I am sure my nephew would love this.
I have the biggest Mom crush on Scott!
Ah! He was so sweet! So nice with my kids too. Are you going to one of their shows?
What a fun concert! I love the photos, and so does my son. We’re pretty jealous here.
Thanks Randa. It was super fun. I hope your son gets to see them live one day!
