When I was a kid, I always wanted an Easy Bake oven. There was something magical about the idea of being able to bake something all by yourself. Sadly, I never got one.
I was so excited when Hasbro offered to send my daughter an Easy Bake oven to test out and review. Hello! Maybe I would even get to finally use an Easy Bake Oven!
The Easy Bake Ultimate Oven comes with a colourful and easy to use oven, a baking pan, and a spatula. It also includes everything you need to make Sparkle Cakes.
My daughter was so excited to make her very first recipe. The instructions provided to make the Sparkle Cakes were very easy to follow. I liked that the recipe had photos and text. She followed the instructions carefully and was so happy to serve the family tasty sparkle cakes for desert.
How to Use the Easy Bake:
The Easy Bake oven is very straightforward. Start by plugging it in and waiting for 20 minutes for it to heat up. While it’s heating up prepare your mix and place it on the baking pan.
Once the oven is heated up, push the baking pan into the oven with the specially designed spatula and wait for your recipe to bake (cooking time varies by recipe).
My daughter set our timer to make sure she didn’t overbake her Sparkle Cakes.
Once cooking time is up, pull out the baking sheet with the Easy Bake spatula. Decorate and enjoy!
The new Easy Bake Ultimate Oven works with electricity (not a lightbulb). There are many great baking kits available for the Easy Bake oven. We can’t wait to try the oven chocolate truffles and the party pretzel dippers mix.
My daughter is loving baking with her Easy Bake oven. It has given her more confidence in the kitchen. It’s great to see how proud she is when she serves the entire family a desert she has made.

I grew up with the old Easy Bake Ovens that used a lightbulb and while it was so much fun, the cookies always came out interesting looking! I would pick the pink sugar cookies for my niece because she loves pink!
