Etch a Sketch has been a popular toy for years. Almost every child grew up with an Etch A Sketch and spent hours trying to create super cool drawings while using the joysticks.
Etch A Sketch now has two new products available for young children. The Etch A Sketch Jr and the Etch A Sketch Freestyle.
Etch A Sketch Jr
This version of Etch A Sketch only has one joystick which makes it easier for young kids to use. The joystick swivels 360 degrees and the vertical design makes it easier for kids to hold.
This Etch A Sketch has the shake erase feature. It’s recommended for kids 3 and up.
Etch A Sketch Freestyle
This version of the Etch A Sketch uses a pen instead of a joystick. It lets you draw in full colour thanks to the rainbow LCD screen. This Etch A Sketch also comes with two double sided stamps that add a cool touch to all your masterpieces.
Etch A Sketch Freestyle is recommended for kids 3 and up.
Etch A Sketch continues to be a great toy for creative kids. It allows children to develop great fine motor skills. These version of Etch A Sketch are easy to use and very fun. I like that this toy doesn’t require batteries and is not electronic. We always take our Etch A Sketch with us on trips and to the restaurant.
Both Etch A Sketch versions are available in stores now. They are well priced and a quality product. I think they make great gifts!
